Pinol Guitars and Ukuleles covers against defective materials and hand craftsmanship, to the original owner only, only if the original owner meets all conditions listed below.
Pinol Guitars and Ukuleles will be liable only for repair of the ukulele or guitar parts. The repair warranty is defined as restoration to a condition which a guitar or ukulele functions to original standards, and will not include warranty coverage or compensation on incidental or consequential damages to any of our instruments i.e. ( Acosutic Guitars, Classical Guitars and Ukuleles).
Accidental damage, wear and tear, and abusive treatment to any instrument, will not be covered under the terms of this warranty. Ukulele and Guitar parts such as strings, frets, saddles, nut, bridge pins, machine tuners, pickups, and finish, can wear out under normal use, and it is considered normal wear and tear under this warranty. Distortion or bellying of the top is also considered normal wear and tear, it is in itself also not covered under this warranty. Finish cracks ,checks and scratches may develop from exposure to temperature extremes, and are also considered to be the result of an accidental damage or abusive treatment under this warranty.
Accidental damage and abusive treatment is: Finish damage caused by being in close proximity to plastics ,damage caused by strings heavier than medium gauge strings, leather dyes and other caustic materials; damage caused by exposure to extreme temperatures and humidity or an impact; and other possible accidental damages caused by the original owner.
The entire warranty coverage, expressed or implied, will expire upon transfer of ownership from the owner indicated on the warranty registration form. Original owner agrees in full understanding that returning of the attached warranty registration form constitutes acceptance of all of the conditions of this contract. In no way will warranty repair be undertaken before the warranty registration form is returned, together with proof of purchase receipt. Our warranty registration form must be returned within a 60 day period from the date of purchase. In certain states the warranty laws may grant rights to consumers additional to those expressed by Pinol Guitars and Ukuleles.
Any damage to a ukulele or guitar resulting from a delay in presenting a warranty claim will be considered to be the result of abusive treatment. Any damage caused by a repairman or incompetent repair persons will also be considered abusive treatment, & will result in the termination of warranty coverage of the area or areas of the ukulele and or guitar which have been improperly fixed/repaired. Areas unaffected by improper repair will continue to be protected under this warranty. Incidences of normal wear and tear, accidental damage, defective workmanship and materials and abusive treatment will be determined at the sole discretion of Pinol Guitars and Ukuleles.
Always contact Pinol Guitars and Ukuleles with a complete description of any warranty related problems. Should your guitar or ukulele require immediate warranty repair corrective work may be performed by a participating warranty repair shop, and a competent repairman selected by Pinol Guitars and Ukuleles. Choosing the repair shop is solely by a discretion of Pinol Guitars and Ukuleles. Defects covered under this warranty will be corrected without any additional charge to the original owner provided that Pinol Guitars and Ukuleles has done the repair in house or approved charges by an outside repair shop. All shipping and insurance expenses will be paid by the original owner. A return approval must be obtained in advance of shipping your ukulele or guitar to Pinol Guitars and Ukuleles.
